At Sailfish we are all ASA qualified Instructors,
IOS insured and DBS checked, and between us
have substantial previous experience.
We are based at Bradgate Pool, Ipswich, Suffolk IP2 0DG.
We focus predominantly on swimming lessons for children from 3 years old
working through the ASA swim levels from 1-10.
Many of our children have gone on to swim with Clubs, take part in
Water Polo or joined the Lifesaving Club. We want children to be safe
and to have a love and respect for water.
What we do
We have small groups with a ratio of 3 children to 1 instructor.
Please note that we are extremely busy at the moment and spaces, particularly for beginner swimmers, are very limited.
All lessons are 30 minutes and are available for children of all abilities, every day and cost from £11.00 for 30 minutes (payable termly). One to one sessions are available for adults and children and cost £25.00.
We also offer parent and child sessions, fast-track holiday lessons, Rookie Lifeguard training and Birthday Parties.
Where
Bradgate Pool is a 40ftx20ft swimming pool in a secluded location off Hadleigh Road, Ipswich.
With a shallow end of 2.3 feet and a deep end of 8.8 feet.
We aim to maintain the water temperature at a constant 31c ideal for babies and young children.
This newly built pool offers a relaxed, clean, safe and fun environment for swimming lessons and pool parties.

Male and Female changing facilities with high quality showers and hairdryers.
Free Parking.
Poolside Viewing and Seating
Gallery walkway with comfortable seating area.
Tea and Coffee machine and other refreshments available.

Policies
On the rare occasion that Sailfish need to cancel a lesson either due to staff absences or problems with the pool, you will be credited on your subsequent invoice.
We do not refund for non attendance, please see our Sailfish Swim School Terms and Conditions.
Please note we are only responsible for swimmers for the duration of their time in the water so children must be supervised at all other times while on the premises, please see our swimming procedures for more details
